This policy explains what information is and isn't collected when you use Company Marketcap (company-marketcap.github.io), and the choices you have. The short version: the calculators run entirely in your browser, and we don't collect what you type into them.
Information you enter into calculators
Every calculator runs in your web browser. The amounts, rates and other figures you enter are processed on your device and are not sent to us or to anyone else. We don't store them, and they're gone when you close or reload the page.
Information we collect
We don't offer accounts, newsletters or sign-up forms, and we don't ask for your name, email address or other personal details. We don't currently use an analytics service. If we add one, we'll update this policy first.
Information stored on your device
If you choose a light or dark theme, the site saves that choice in your browser's local storage so it's remembered on your next visit. It stays on your device, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Advertising and cookies
The site is funded by ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance and, where permitted, personalize ads based on your visits to this and other websites.

Services that load parts of the page
Like most websites, the site relies on a few outside services to deliver its pages. When your browser requests files from them, they receive standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the page you're viewing:
- GitHub Pages hosts the site.
- Google Fonts provides the typefaces.
- jsDelivr provides a styling library.
- Google AdSense provides the ads described above.
Each of these services handles that information under its own privacy policy.
Children's privacy
The site is intended for adults and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
Where the site is run from
The site is operated from the United States. Information handled by the services listed above may be processed in the United States and in other countries where those providers operate.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles information, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date at the top.
